MPs Allowances

MPs are allowed to claim up to £23,083 towards the cost of their living in London for part of the week when they have to work in London. In the last year for which comparable figures are available my claim was £14,227. My claim was the 504th lowest out of 648 MPs.

Given the controversy over MPs allowances; from the beginning of this financial year (April 2009-2010) I intend to publish details of my claims for a second home in London when they are made.
